Fireboy and Watergirl 2: Light Temple is a cooperative adventure game for two players, while you can also play it by yourself. Together with the two heroes, explore the temple's labyrinthine interior and gather gems as you guide them both safely out.

Your goal in this puzzle platform game is to guide the two elemental heroes through the mysterious, old temple. You must gather every gem in order to unlock the exit. Because of how their skills complement each other, Fireboy and Watergirl make a great team.

Fireboy and Watergirl must approach the entrance marked with the red Mars and blue Venus symbols, respectively. Your current level's type will be shown on the level map by the shape of the diamonds that stand in for the game's 40 stages. For instance, a timed challenge, a lights-out maze, or a puzzle with light beams.

There is a colour-code system for level completion as well. When the diamond becomes green, all of the level's goals have been attained. When a diamond turns orange, some goals have been achieved, but not all of them. You can always replay levels you've already completed to see if you can raise your score.
