What this site is

run-3.io publishes editorial guides about Run 3 and hosts a browser-based player for the game. Run 3 is a timing and spatial-navigation game: players steer through tunnels and shift gravity to avoid gaps. The experience rewards reading ahead, steady inputs, and short practice sessions.

We do not replace your district’s acceptable-use policy. Whether students may use this site on school networks is a local decision. This page exists so administrators and teachers can review the site on its merits and request a formal allowlist entry if your process allows it.

Possible classroom angles (when your policy allows games)

Some educators use games like Run 3 briefly to discuss:

  • Spatial reasoning and perspective (what “down” means when the tunnel rotates).
  • Planning and feedback loops (predicting hazards, adjusting after failure).
  • Reaction timing versus panic inputs (controlled inputs versus repeated mistakes).

These are optional framing ideas, not curriculum mandates. Your subject lead or administration should align use with district rules.

  • CDN scripts and styles: Bootstrap is loaded from cdnjs.cloudflare.com on pages that include the site layout.
  • Optional comments: pages may load Firebase scripts from www.gstatic.com for optional real-time comments when configured in /js/firebase-config.js. If Firebase is not configured, comments stay in the browser only (see our Privacy Policy).
  • Service worker: /sw.js may cache static assets for offline-friendly loading; it does not execute arbitrary remote code.

If your filter blocks by category (for example “games”), an allowlist entry is usually the correct path—not something we can override from the site. Share this URL and the primary domain above with your network team.

Accounts and student data

Playing Run 3 in the embedded player does not require a login on our site. Comments are optional and can work offline in the browser unless Firebase is enabled. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

How to request a review

  1. Open this page and the home page on a managed device or mirror your district’s review process.
  2. Share https://run-3.io/ and, if needed, https://run-3.io/for-educators.html with IT or your curriculum lead.
  3. Use your district’s ticket or form for category overrides or educational exceptions, and describe the intended use (class, club, time window).
